Mato Magaji Abubakar FCA was born on 17^thMay 1969 in Gombe, Gombe State. He obtained B.Sc. Accounting and MBA from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1995 and 2021 respectively. He worked in the Accounts and Finance department of the National Electric Power Authority (later Power Holding Company of Nigeria) from 1998 to 2015. He joined the services of Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations of Nigeria as Senior Finance Officer of their various development project from 2016 to 2021 September. He is currently the Finance and Admin Manager of Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center (CISLAC)

He served Kaduna District Society in 3 positions. Annual Accountants week Committee member 2021, Financial Secretary 2021 to 2023 and General Secretary 2023 to date.

Mato Magaji Abubakar FCA is an ad hoc Technical Officer with Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the conduct of UTME. As a payback to his Alma matter, he is the National Financial Secretary of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Luba  Yakubu hails from Gusau – Gidan Zalla of Zamfara State and presently married with two (2) children.

She holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic Bida,Niger state. She is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Currently,she is the Social Secretary(2 years ) of ICAN Kaduna and District society. She has served as the Treasurer of the district for 3 consecutive years and was a member of the Finance committee, she also served in the Annual Dinner committee for Four(4) years.

Luba Yakubu is a member of Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN),she served as a Treasurer for Three(3) years, as the Financial Secretary for 1 tenure and currently serving as the Assistant General Secretary.

Luba Yakubu works with Joy International College, Kaduna. A patron of Nigeria Boys Brigade,served as an Honourary Auditor of the Diocese of Kaduna Anglican Communion and presently the Treasurer of the Diocese of Kaduna Anglican Communion.

He has a Master Degree in Business Administration(MBA) from Post Graduate School Nigerian Defence Academy (MBA), An Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). A register member of Nigerian Financial Reporting Council, An Associate Member of Nigeria Hotel Association. Currently theFinancial Secretary of ICAN Kaduna & District Society, The Chairman Education Committee of the District, former Chief Invigilator of (ICAN) Examination Kaduna Centre also served as Deputy Chairman Registration Committee of the ICAN Northern Zonal Conference 2021.

I currently work with an HMO (Infinite X2 Health Maintenance Services Ltd as an Accountant, also an astute hospitality technocrat with close to a decade practical on-hands experience. I has been involved in Setting up account dept, marketing feasibility, Project Planning and annual budget for so many Organisations, until I resigns my appointment in Deluxe Suites Superior Accommodation in 2018, I am the Managing Director of Deluxe Suites Superior accommodation Kaduna the position I rose from the Accountant to General Manager, then Managing Director. I alsowork with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) I-Net Global Services Ltd, Kaduna from 2001 to 2008 as an account officer and grows to the level of Chief Accountant.

Kuburat Alabe, (Kubby), (ACA) graduated with a BSc. Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin and MSc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Lagos. 

A Banker by training with over 20 years of experience in the Banking Industry. She started her career in the erstwhile Universal Trust Bank. She later moved to Diamond Bank Plc where she worked in different units and departments in various capacities, rising to the rank of an Area Manager, in the Kaduna Region, before the merger of the Bank with Access Bank Plc in 2018.

She was a Regional Manager at Access Bank until she left the services of the Bank to pursue her other career and business options. During her banking career period, she underwent various training at different times to equip her in her various roles and job schedules. 

Presently, the Assistant General Secretary of the district and a member of the 2022/2023 and 2023 /2024 Exco of the Districts serving in the capacity of ex-officio 1 and Assistant General Secretary respectively. She was also a member of the 2021 Annual Accountant Week committee for the District where she coordinated the fundraising and activities of visits to the orphanage homes. 

She also served as a member of the Annual Accountant Week for 2022 and 2023 planning committee and chaired the annual dinner sub-committee and fundraising for the event and visits to orphanage homes in 2022.

Kuburat also served as an invigilator at the ICAN Examination, May 2022, November 2022, and May 2023 Diets.

She was also the chairperson of the electoral committee for SWAN in 2022 overseeing the conduct of election of SWAN members into Exco.

She presently works as Manager of Strategic and Corporate Services in a consulting firm of Professional Chartered Accountants involved in the practice of Accountancy, Audit, Taxation, and Consultancy services.

She is armed with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, and Kaduna State University respectively. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Kaduna District.

She became a member of ICAN Kaduna & District Society in May 2018.

Oyeyemi  Lukman  Adesina  PROFILE

Oyeyemi Lukman Adesina was born to the royal family of Akinrun Amolaoye of Ikirun  in the middle of 1970’s. He attended his  Primary and Secondary  School in the same city of Ikirun, area of Osun State.

 Prince Lukman Oyeyemi is Accounting graduate of 2004. He holds his B.sc Accounting with Second (Class Upper Division) from Salem University Lokoja. Bagged a Master Degree of Business Administration (MBA) (Finance Specialization )  and  Master of Science  Degree in Management  with (Distinction) from  Bayero University Kano, respectively. Pursued another Master of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance  with Ahmadu  Bello University Zaria.

Prince Lukman  Oyeyemi has over two decades working experience in Construction Company, Manufacturing Company, Audit Firm, Automobile Company And Non  Governmental  Organization (NGO).

Alh. Lukman Oyeyemi is presently  the Managing Partner of Lukman  Oyeyemi & Co ( Chartered Accountants) Abuja. He is happily married and blessed with beautiful girls and Macco boys . He loves travelling and Research as his best  hubbies.

Dr. Lateef Olumide Mustapha is an holder of Diploma in Banking and Finance, Bachelor Degree (Bsc) in Accounting, Msc Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and PhD in Accounting in 1996, 2001,2010,2018 and 2016 respectively. He is a Fellow member of many professional bodies including Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Apart from qualifying many students as Chartered Accountants in ICAN/NNDC Resource Centre, he served in many committees of most of these bodies both at the district and the National level.

Dr Mustapha joined Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna in 2005 as a Graduate Assistant presently due for his Full Professorship in Accounting. Apart from serving in various committees at the Departmental, Faculty and Academy levels, he has successfully supervised and completed many undergraduate projects in Accounting and many theses in Accounting, Finance and Management at the Postgraduate level. He has 110 publications in Accounting and Finance in reputable Journals to his credit. He is happily married with 4 children

I graduated from the Prestigious Ahmadu Bello University’s Economics department in the year 2011 and completed my one year National Youth Service in 2012.

Upon completion of my NYSC, I enrolled for Ican study at Musa Bello Learning Resource Centre where I was awarded scholarship for ICAN Exams.

During that period, I began my articleship with MHOA & CO Chartered Accountants where I was trained in Audit, Tax, Financial and management consultancies.

 I later worked as a freelance Accountant in FASIR ENERGY LTD (An Oil & Gas Company)  between 2016 and 2019.

In 2019, I joined Ben  Hirki and Co Chartered Accountants as Audit Manager -the position which exposed me to numerous assignments at both public and private sectors level.

By 2020, I was already a key member of the firm, hence promoted to  a partnership level, the position I still hold till date.

Since my qualification and becoming member of Kaduna and Districts Society in 2018,  I have been actively engaged in the District’s activities including but not limited to Visitations, delegation and volunteering for district activities.

I participated actively during the Northern Zonal Accountant Conference held by Kaduna District in 2021.

I do actively take part in many visitations that had taken place in the district.

I was also part of the Social committee that organized the last Annual Accountants Week (AAW) 2024 of the district.

I wish to now serve as Membership Secretary of our great District.
