Obafunso, Rahmon Agboola, FCA, FCTI, FCMA worked in the defunct Nigeria Telecommunication Limited and retired in 2010 as Manager Finance. Thereafter, he joined and worked with the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Millennium Development Goals (SSAP-MDGs) as Technical Assistant 2011-2013, Doma Education Development Foundation as Programme Financial/Admin Officer: SURE-P MCH Advocacy Project 2014 and Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) as Local Technical Officer and thereafter State Technical Assistant – Counter Terrorism Department i.e SAVE Project: Nigeria’s Countering Violence and Extremism (CVE) Programme 2015; and Micro Development Consulting Limited-Positive Voices Campaign Project (MDCL/PVCP) 2016-2017 as Kaduna State Coordinator. He worked with Frank Ughulu & Co Chartered Accountants as Audit Manager North.
He is a facilitator at the NNDC/ICAN Student Special Project. 2008 – to date on Performance Management, Management Information and Taxation. Also, he is a facilitator at the ORAL/CITN Resources Learning Centre.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Nigeria (CICMA).
He is the financial Secretary to the District’s Co-operative Society.
He served as immediate past Technical Secretary for four years (4 years) between 2018/19-2021/22.
He served as the Chairman Rapporteur Committee at 2021 KADA Northern Zonal Conference

I am Rekiya Shaibu I hold a degree in law from the university of Abuja and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2007. I became an associate member of the institute in 2018. I’m a Masters holder in Industrial and labour relationship in 2016.
I have served as the Assistant General Secretary of the Kaduna & District society from 2020-2023. I have been a member of the District dinner Committee for three consecutive years 2019-2021 and a committee member at the 16th NZAC held in Kaduna. I was also the past Financial Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association Barnawa Branch.

Dr. Lateef Olumide Mustapha was born in Ijeda- Ijesa in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State in the early 70s. Mustapha is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Apart from qualifying many students as Chartered Accountants in ICAN, he served in many committees at the district level.
Mustapha has been with Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna as lecturer since (2005) as Lecturer. He has successfully supervised and successfully completed 45 Msc Theses in various areas of accounting and 10 completed PhD theses to his credit. He served as a resource person to various tertiary institutions such as Plateau State Polytechnic, Jos (2003), Airforce Institute of Technology, Kaduna (2008-2010), National Open University of Nigeria, Kaduna Study Centre (2015 to date), Kaduna State University (2013 to 2018). He has 84 publications in Accounting and Finance in reputable Journals to his credit. He is happily married with 4 children.

Yakubu Luba hails from Gusau – Gidan Zalla of Zamfara State of Nigeria. Born at Tudun wada, Gusau,
Zamfara State. Married with two children.
She holds a Higher National Diploma HND in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Bida Niger State.
Also, she is an Associate member with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Presently, she serves as the Treasurer of the ICAN Kaduna & District Society anda member of the finance committee. She previously served in the Annual Dinner committee for three (3) consecutive years.

Kuburat Alabe ACA

Kuburat Alabe (ACA) graduated with a BSc. Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin and MSc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Lagos.
A banker by training with over 20years experience in the Banking Industry. She started her career in the erstwhile Universal Trust Bank. She later moved to Diamond Bank Plc where she worked in different units and departments and in various capacity, rising to the rank of an Area Manager, Kaduna Region, before the merger of the Bank with Access Bank Plc in 2018.
She was a Regional Manager in Access Bank until recently when she left the services of the Bank to pursue her other career and business options. During her banking career period, she underwent various training at different times to equip her in her various roles and job schedules.
Presently a member of the 2022/2023 Exco of the Districts serving in the capacity of the ex- officio 1. She was also a member of the 2021 Annual Accountant week committee for the District where she coordinated the fund raising and activities of visit to the orphanage homes.
She also served as member of the Annual Accountant week for 2022 planning committee, and chaired the annual dinner sub-committee and fund raising for the event and visit to orphanage homes.
Kuburat also served as invigilator at the ICAN Examination, May 2022 Diet.
She was also the chairperson, electoral committee for SWAN in 2022 overseeing the conduct of election of SWAN members into Exco.
She presently works as Manager, Strategic and Corporate Services in a consulting firm of Professional Chartered Accountants involved in the practice of Accountancy, Audit, Taxation and Consultancy services.
She is armed with a Diploma in Management and Masters in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano and Kaduna State University respectively.
She became a member of the District in May 2018.
